Got this to fight back extended power outage due to Hurricane Irene. Arrived in 2 days. Took 20 minutes to install, and 2hrs for electrician to run the wiring. Runs the whole house.
We connected to main panel using a transfer swith. We used the 240V output.

- Air Handler (for oil heated furnace)
- Well Pump
- Microwave
- All Audio Video Equipment
- Lights for 4 bedroom (All CFL)
Easy to start, I have been using kick start.
Don't know about the long-term reliability of the product given it only comes with 90day warranty. Based on 2 days of performance I will recommend this product.
I am giving 4 star as I don't have long term experience.
Major Fire Hazard with this CHINA MADE machine. Avoid this and all other similar products from this manufacturer.
The carb leaks fuel, and will leak when running, or not running. The entire contents of the fuel tank will empty via the carb. Major risk for explosion
I'm discovering a number of other people that this has happened to, and filed reports can be found on the Government Unsafe Products page, SAFERPRODUCTS.gov
