I ordered a 1200 Watt Generator from Steele Productions 3 months ago and since I recieved it its been broke I've called continusiouly and now the number seems to be disconnected?!? I would not recommend anyone to buy this product because I lost my money buying something that dosn't work and the company never had the desincy to even reply. If Amazon can be of any help I would appriciate it.

I read the reviews on the generator and decided to go ahead and purchase the product. It was hard to pass up because of the price. I inspected the product after it arrived via UPS and noticed the covered wire to the spark plug was pressed against the outside cover and rubbing. I relocated it, put oil and fuel in, followed the start up directions and it fired off on the third pull. Yes, it is a little loud but you can have a conversation near it without raising your voice too much. It did produce enough power to operate a couple of small hand tools. Over the next couple of weeks I will use it extensively while working on my boat. If I have problems I will update the review. So far it works as advertised. I do recommend one thing to the designers. Please change the requirement to remove 2 screws to check and fill the oil. It should be much easier to access the dip stick.
