I have owned this generator for a little over three years. I run it for a few minutes at least once a month with a load on it. I wired the house for it to run most of the essential circuits (furnace, well pump, lights, outlets) and it works fine every time the power is out. It doesn't use much gasoline and starts easily every time. I highly recommend this generator as a good value for the price. I would definitely get the optional wheel kit to move it around as it is quite heavy. I expect this generator to last many more years with normal maintenance.
